Orthopedic Services
Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Evidence-based rehabilitation for musculoskeletal pain, injury, and performance — with hands-on, one-on-one care tailored to your goals.
Move Better. Feel Stronger.
Orthopedic physical therapy addresses injuries, chronic pain, and functional limitations throughout the musculoskeletal system — from your neck to your feet. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or trying to get back to the sport you love, we build a plan around your specific goals.
Our therapists combine hands-on manual therapy with therapeutic exercise, functional movement training, and patient education. We don't just treat symptoms — we identify the root cause and address it.
At Pivotal PT, you'll always work one-on-one with your therapist for the full duration of your session. No aides, no shared time, no rushing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral for orthopedic PT?
Louisiana is a direct-access state, meaning you can see a physical therapist without a physician referral. However, some insurance plans may require one for reimbursement purposes. Contact us and we can help clarify.
How is Pivotal PT different from a typical PT clinic?
We provide one-on-one care for every session — your therapist is with you the entire time, not supervising multiple patients at once nor relying on a therapy tech to walk you through your exercises. This allows for the highest quality of care and faster results.
Can you help with sports performance, not just injury recovery?
Absolutely. We work with athletes at all levels on movement quality, injury prevention, and performance optimization — not just rehabilitation after injury.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-based practice. If desired, we can provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. HSA, FSA, debit, and credit cards are accepted. The initial evaluation is $170, and follow up visits are $140. Treatment packages are available for a discounted rate. Be sure to talk to your therapist about this at your first visit.
