Supporting Your Body Through Every Stage

Pregnancy and the postpartum period are among the most physically demanding transitions a body can go through. Pain, weakness, and dysfunction are common — but they are not something you simply have to live with.

Our therapists specialize in prenatal and postpartum care, providing hands-on treatment and education to help you manage discomfort during pregnancy, prepare your body for labor, and recover fully after delivery.

We also offer in-person labor and delivery support for patients who want a familiar, trained face by their side during birth. See our Childbirth Prep & Birthing Support page for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start pelvic PT during pregnancy?

You can start at any point during pregnancy. Many patients begin in the second trimester when discomfort often increases, but early intervention is always beneficial. Postpartum care typically begins 6 weeks after delivery, or earlier if warranted.

Is pelvic PT safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Our therapists are specially trained in prenatal care and use only safe, evidence-based techniques appropriate for each stage of pregnancy. Fully informed consent will be discussed before every exam and treatment to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the care you receive.

How soon postpartum should I come to PT?

We recommend a postpartum evaluation as soon as you are ready to come. One can never know what will result from delivery, so we want to support you whenever you need. Typically internal exam and treatment begins around 6 weeks.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a cash-based practice. If desired, we can provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. HSA, FSA, debit, and credit cards are accepted. The initial evaluation is $170, and follow up visits are $140. Childbirth Prep Package is available for $655, which includes 5 visits that can be used at any time while pregnant or postpartum. Be sure to talk to your therapist about this at your first visit.

You deserve support at every stage.

Whether you're 8 weeks pregnant or 8 months postpartum, it's never too early or too late to start.
