Bladder and bowel challenges in children are more common than many parents realize — and they can significantly impact a child's confidence, social life, and quality of life. The good news is that pelvic floor physical therapy is highly effective for many of these conditions.
Our therapists specialize in pediatric pelvic health and use age-appropriate, non-invasive techniques to help children understand their bodies and develop healthy bladder and bowel habits. We work collaboratively with families, providing education and home programs to support progress between visits.
Sessions are always gentle, playful, and designed to make children feel safe and comfortable. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to be present throughout treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my child needs pelvic PT?
If your child is experiencing ongoing bladder or bowel challenges — such as frequent accidents, constipation, bed-wetting beyond age 5, or pain with urination — pelvic floor PT may help. A referral from your pediatrician is helpful but not always required.
What does a pediatric pelvic PT session look like?
Sessions are always age-appropriate, gentle, and child-centered. We use games, visual aids, and biofeedback tools to make the experience comfortable and engaging. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to be present.
Is an internal exam performed on children?
No. Pediatric pelvic PT does not involve internal examination. All assessment and treatment is external and non-invasive.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-based practice. If desired, we can provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. HSA, FSA, debit, and credit cards are accepted. The initial evaluation is $170, and follow up visits are $140. Treatment packages are available for a discounted rate. Be sure to talk to your therapist about this at your first visit.
