What technology do I need for a virtual visit?
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone is all you need. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Your therapist will send you a link before your appointment.
Is virtual PT as effective as in-person?
For many conditions, virtual consultations are highly effective — especially for exercise instruction, education, and follow-up care. Some hands-on treatments can only be performed in person, so your therapist will help determine the best format for your needs.
Can I start with a virtual visit and transition to in-person?
Absolutely. Many patients use virtual visits for initial consultations or follow-up care, and transition to in-person sessions when hands-on treatment is needed.
Do you accept insurance for virtual visits?
We are a cash-based practice. If desired, we can provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. HSA, FSA, debit, and credit cards are accepted. The initial evaluation is $160, and follow up visits are $130 for an hour and $85 for 30 minutes.
